Shoot Boutique is a new company offering a unique photo experience for weddings and other special events through its fusion of the photo booth and professional photo studio. Very Own Studio was involved in the project from an early stage, working on everything from the company name, visual identity, overall art direction, print design and management, booth design, interactive touch screens and website, right down to the vehicle graphics.
When beginning the design process, careful thought went into how to make the brand stand out against the traditional wedding graphic design style which tends to use script fonts and flourishes. The simple icon depicts an abstract flower made up of several interlocking circles. The circle, a traditional wedding symbol, represents the promise of never-ending love, as in the wedding ring. The type that accompanies the icon is clean and easily read.
The icon has also been dissected into its constituent parts and these are restructured to form other fleurons (flower shaped glyphs) that will be used across the marketing collateral at different scales, almost like confetti.
